Depression Can Lick my Metaphorical Nuts

Safari crashed halfway through as I was typing this a minute ago. Ugh. Guess I should type these in google docs or something. Or whatever. Hey, look, depression!! ha ha ha.

Anyway. Things are coming along. Not great, but forward at least.

I haven’t been writing much except for my daily posture prompts. Those are actually really helpful to get me in front of the computer for at least a bit most days. So, I haven’t been pushing the writing. I am planning on doing NaNoWriMo. And the hubs should be in town for most, if not all, of November, so that will help too.

Even though I haven’t been writing, I have been exploring other avenues of creativity. I was thinking about putting a Tory Burch FitBit necklace on my Christmas wishlist, then decided I should be all geeky and make my own. Ugh, why can’t I embed Instagram pictures?! Hmmm. Could google and figure it out or could just complain about it…

I’ve been knitting matching hats for me and the kid. I’ve been reading a lot (my Goodreads Currently Reading list is just absurd). Cooking. Whatever. Feels good to create, even if it’s not my preferred medium.

As far as my getting up early plans, well, I’ve slept through the FitBit alarm many, many times. I managed to get up three times, but, that’s not real great, I know. But, manning the Good Ship Casa Trimble is exhausting. Toddlers are mega pains in the ass sometimes.

And exercise… Well…

Yup. Real nice. Well, at least I’m wearing my FitBit in my bitchin’ owl today. It even has glow in the dark eyes. Because that’s how I roll.

Anyway. I guess things are better than they were. I’m on an upward trajectory. I have some fun projects banging away in my head. I think they just need to age a bit before I take them out and let them do their thing. Onward and upward.
